Ambition
is an aspiration that has turned cancerous on itself.
We
all have aspirations which add color to life. The problem starts
when we turn an aspiration into an ambition. Ambition becomes
the reason of our existence. Also, ambition becomes the target
of our existence. In all, ambition itself becomes our existence.
We
are never fully satisfied with life. We always want more and more
from it. We design special blueprints for ourselves and work doggedly
toward achieving them.
Ambition
is the hallmark of the present day life and, unluckily, is revered
highly in our society.
Ambition
for money, ambition for fame, ambition for powerambition
is visible everywhere in our day-to-day life.
But
ambition stops us from living totally and from living in depth.
Ambition
compartmentalizes life into incomplete secluded sectors and we
take these sectors to be the whole and miss out heavily on life.
Ambition
does not let us enjoy life as it comes to us since we are always
too busy planning fulfillment of our blueprints.
Ambition
does not let us live in peace.
